During that long decade away from home, Eddie C.'s skills as a unique blues songwriter certainly blossomed. His triumphant homecoming set contains some highly distinctive material - a homespun "Sister Taught Me Guitar," and the incandescent title track, a forceful "Sleep," and "Busted," and a decidedly mystical "Son of Sons."

Reissue of the great set originally released on the Dutch Double Trouble label. Featuring Campbell's crystal-clear Westside Chicago guitar sound, 'Mind Trouble' can keep up with his superb US recordings. The studio band sounds very good, and Campbell wrote most of the material. Westside Chicago blues, as good as can be.
