Midnight Star - Headlines (1986) {Japan for USA}
"Headlines" is the 6th album released by R&B group Midnight Star. Released in 1986, this album reached #7 on the R&B albums chart. This was the last album to feature the Calloway brothers, who left the group due to irreconcilable differences with the other members.

The final hit album for Midnight Star before the Calloway brothers departed. They had reached their peak and cranked out three solid R&B hits, among them the title track, "Midas Touch," and "Engine No. 9." Everything clicked, from the production and arrangements to the hook-filled lyrics and exuberant, if at times bland, vocals. But evidently the Calloways figured they had done all they could do with Midnight Star, as they bolted once the last single dropped off the charts.
