Comeback is an album by Eric Burdon released in 1982, during the Comeback film project. It was the studio album to the film. Live tracks recorded during the sessions were released later on compilations. It was re-released several times under the name Crawling King Snake and The Road. The Comeback Soundtrack ( with studio and live tracks ) was released in 1994.
The "Comeback" project was a film and soundtrack sung and acted by Burdon that was roughly based on Burdon's life. If you like Burdon and you haven't seen the film or bought this album, well, you've gone to bed without your supper and desert. Simply put, this is Burdon's best effort. "It Hurts Me Too", and "Bird On the Beach", and "Take It Easy" are cuts which capture Burdon's most stirring performances. By the way, the companion piece to this is the "Wicked man" cd which has the other tracks recorded for the "Comeback" project. A great F'N recording.
