Grace Kennedy was born at Montego Bay, Jamaica on 2 March 1958. She first came into the public eye after winning the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks in 1977 and then also featuring in a 1979 episode of Star Treatment. In May 2013, the Blue Coast Crew traveled to Happy Valley, Santa Cruz, California to record a special group of musicians. Hand chosen by Keith Greeninger, these artists came from various parts of Northern California to record a few songs in a magical place in the middle of a redwood forest. Surrounded by trees, birds and wildflowers, the Blue Coast Crew recorded direct to DSD using the Extended Sound Environment technique. All the musicians were incredible. We became instant fans. Occasionally, you'll hear Keith singing in the background. Sometimes, you'll hear the birds in the background. The day ended too soon.

David Pattillo aka Strange Majik has been nominated for an Emmy for the "Live From The Artists Den" television series, produced the debut album of an up and coming Motown artist for super producer Linda Perry, and for the last few years has fronted The Dead Exs singing and crafting a blues guitar finger style in backwater dives around the country. He even hosted a year long UK radio show.

Released in 1971 but unavailable on CD for many years, "One Dozen Roses" from Smokey Robinson & The Miracles includes the reappearance of the huge hit song "The Tears Of A Clown", a multi-million selling number one single in both the US and the UK, inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002. The song also holds the distinction of being the Miracles' first (and only) number one hit with Smokey Robinson as lead singer.

Saxophonist and composer Samuel Blais, awarded the 2011/12 Jazz Revelation by Radio Canada, completed a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance at Canadas McGill University, which led him on to complete his Masters in same at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. While in New York, he performed with many jazz notables, including veteran saxophonist and former Miles Davis band mate Dave Liebman. "Cycling", featuring Mr. Liebman, won a Prix Opus for Best Jazz Album, 2010/11.

Hurriganes was a hugely popular Finnish rock & roll band formed in 1971. Their music was a belated take on classic rock & roll, and the band was equally adept at writing their own modern classics as they were covering supercharged versions of songs by Fats Domino, Bo Diddley, or the J. Geils Band. Roadrunner is regarded as one of the best Finnish rock records ever released, and in 2007, it was re-released as a SACD mixed to a 5.1 format.
