35th anniversary reissue of legendary Canadian/American singer, composer and transgender activist Beverly Glenn-Copeland’s beloved seminal work An ahead-of-it’s-time synth exploration which somehow combines the essence of new-age minimalism, early Detroit techno and the warmth of traditional songwriting His third album, Keyboard Fantasies was originally self-released on cassette in 1986. Initially over-looked by mainstream media, it caught the ear of a Japanese collector who contacted the artist in 2015 and asked for copies to sell.

Kristin Amarie’s, NOTES FROM A JOURNEY (2013), was her very first studio album, but rose to the top of The Independent Music Awards, where she was awarded Best New Age album, from a jury of judges around the world. NOTES FROM A JOURNEY, also marked the first collaboration, heard here on Kristin’s composition, WITHOUT YOU, between her and the iconic pianist, David Lanz. American blues singer-songwriter, musician, and activist Bonnie Raitt recorded live at The Record Plant in Sausalito CA on December 9th 1973. Broadcast on KSAN 95 FM in San Francisco. At the time Bonnie had just released her 3rd studio album Takin' My Time during the summer that year. "For many years, I couldn't stand listening to my own voice, not enough gravitas or experience to convey the depth of emotion I wanted to express." A poignant confession of self-doubt revealed by the Cambridge blues great Bonnie Raitt to Rolling Stone magazine in later years. Although Raitt may have doubted her initial spiritual abilities, her power undeniably came from her own depth and determination. Her unique style is a salute to her heroes and heroines, namely the blues greats.

Time Life's Superstars of Country spotlights original hits recorded in the '60s, '70s and '80s by the artists who made them famous. This rewarding, but bulky, ten-CD set highlights 150 chart-topping tracks that include Kenny Rogers, Alabama, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Ronnie Milsap, Glen Campbell, John Denver and Tanya Tucker. Time Life also released these discs as individual volumes for those not willing to shell out the big bucks for this gigantic set.

Common Touch is an album by jazz saxophonist Stanley Turrentine featuring Shirley Scott recorded for the Blue Note label in 1968 and performed by Turrentine with Shirley Scott, Jimmy Ponder, Bob Cranshaw and Leo Morris. The CD reissue added one bonus track recorded in a different session and originally released on Ain't No Way (LT 1095, 1980). The other four tracks may be found on the CD reissue of Easy Walker. The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow, awarded the album 3 stars and states "Although not essential (no one seems to sweat much and none of the tempos are above a slow-medium pace), this lazy date has its pleasurable moments".

She then was featured on the Grease soundtrack performing several songs that won her an Grammy nomination. Desire Wire is an album that reflects many of her Grease roots as a singer/songwriter and
a soulful rock icon. This collection of songs has more hooks than a fisherman's cap. There are several hard rockin' tunes, i.e. Survivor, High School History, and Finally Rockin' most noticeably. The other songs are slower but are real heart-string tuggers, i.e. Desire Wire, Knee Deep In Love. This album gained her another Grammy nomination. Her next two albums echoed the feel of Desire Wire and were released in 1981 and 1986, both are great, if you can find them. Neither has been issued on CD to my knowledge. Her albums after that are more folk than rock and her new group, The Refugees, while very good, are just not my style. If you like rock from the late seventies, pick up this hidden diamond for your enjoyment!

Adrian Belew should be known as versatility personified when it comes to the guitar, as a multi-instrumentalist & vocalist he is renowned for creating soundscapes that leave others in awe. Possibly known most for his role in King Crimson, Belew has also collaborated with Zappa, Bowie, and the Talking Heads, among others. Most of the material here is from 1989's Mr. Music Head, but some other King Crimson gems are found here. Homespun presents this remastered performance from the Paradise Theater on July 18, 1989, broadcast live on WBCN-FM in Boston for your listening pleasure. This archival recording illustrates why Trent Reznor described Belew as "the most awesome musician in the world" in Guitar Player magazine and shows his versatility and depth.

Post College in Brookville, Greenvale, New York. Performed on May 6th, 1977, it serves as an important signpost in his development and career. Transmitted shortly before the astronomical success of The Stranger, which would be released just four months after, propelling him onto the global stage and garnering critical acclaim.
