Some of My Friends Are Like Clouds in the Sky is a collaborative jazz duet album by Finnish saxophonist Masa Orpana and double bassist Ville Rauhala. Its official release on streaming platforms took place on July 21, 2026 under the label Alba Records.

Sarah MacDonald is arguably one of the UK’s most dynamic enablers of young singers and organists. She is also established as one of the foremost exponents of contemporary sacred choral music, particularly new works by living female composers. We are delighted to release this first recording devoted to her own compositions, sung by her own Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, and recorded in the radiant acoustic of Ely Cathedral, where she is Director of the Girl Choristers. MacDonald’s works are firmly routed in the rich Anglican choral tradition demonstrating expert and highly-effective writing for voices and skilled use of texture, rhythm, and colour.

Reza Askari is a German (son of an Iranian-born father and a German mother), Cologne-based double bass player, composer, and educator (he is a professor of jazz bass at the University of Music Wuerzburg). His main band is the Roar trio - with clarinet and tenor sax player Stefan Karl Schmid and drummer Fabian Arend, augmented by vibes player Christopher Dell (who is also an educator who teaches architecture, urban design, and planning) in its last two albums - the self-titled album (QFTF, 2022) and Zen World Cables (Boomslang, 2024).

Achieving significant popularity in the 1970s, the trio were famous for their close vocal harmonies and light acoustic folk rock sound. ‘Halcyon Days’ is a collection of re-recordings of their greatest hits including ‘A Horse With No Name’, ‘Sister Golden Hair’ and ‘Ventura Highway’. Also includes the bonus track ‘A Horse With No Name (A Score A Score Remix)’.

Tell Me Something: The Songs of Mose Allison is a collaboration by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison, Georgie Fame, Mose Allison and Ben Sidran, released in 1996. It is Van Morrison's 25th album. It charted at No. 1 on the Top Jazz Albums chart.
