The Hudson-based duo makes a triumphant return with their latest album, "Water's Here In You", set to release everywhere on April 26th, 2024. The album journeys through the indie folk landscape they had previously etched out, now adorned with touches of eerie, atmospheric, and occasionally dissociative tones. Singer-songwriter Maya Bon and long-time collaborator and producer Ryan Albert paint a canvas weaving in and out of drony darkness and sunny folk moments.

Once again, Six Organs of Admittance showcases the intricate tangle of fingers on the fretboard and flash of lens flare slicing the air, as the future arcs 360 degrees around to become a part of the past as well. Oscillations in this glass bowl ripple outward eternally, but are rooted on the ground where all the creatures are moving and communing; humans too. As acclaimed indie folk band The Ballroom Thieves wrote and recorded their upcoming album, one central question emerged as the theme: “What if we could all just be a little more tender?” The duo – Calin Peters (vocals, cello, bass) and Martin Earley (vocals, guitar) – started to ponder what they could do to be more self-aware of their mental health and of those around them in a world oversaturated by social media, pop-culture, and digital consumption. The result is a lush, 10-track collection of thoughts on the human experience called Sundust, out April 12. “This group of songs is a self-portrait of our intertwined lives,” shares Peters.

Faye Webster's songs are direct lines to the human subconscious, and Underdressed at the Symphony documents what happens once you begin to build a new self from the ashes of your old routines. This rebirth isn't flashy or definitive, but is instead a series of seemingly mundane moments that, scattered across weeks and months, sneak their way toward something like healing. Yes, there's a breakup in play, but Webster is not documenting the heartbreak of a breakup so much as she's navigating the contours of heartbreak itself. Recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas with her longtime band, Webster is accompanied on Underdressed at the Symphony by Matt Stoessel's arcs of shimmering pedal steel, the plaintive, unhurried drums of Charles Garner, and, occasionally, additional guitarwork from Wilco's Nels Cline. The title of the album refers to Webster's post-breakup compulsion to visit the symphony on a whim, usually buying a ticket at the last possible second.

Part Time Believer is an album that marks a new venture in The Strumbellas' penchant for big, brightly coloured melodies overlaying cerebral verses.

It took a decade, tragedy, mutual support and, inevitably, alcohol and pizza to get them back together, but Brighton-based The Miserable Rich release a new album, their first since 2011’s Miss You In The Days.

Tired Hearts Deluxe Edition is an 18-track set that adds six bonus songs to Tired Hearts, the group’s acclaimed 2023 LP. The new deluxe edition includes re-imagined songs, live performances, a brand-new, previously unreleased track (“You Would Never Know,”) and a very special version of “These Bones” featuring Amos Lee.

Conchúr White's story began in bands. He played in atmospheric indie-rockers Silences, before their split allowed Conchúr to develop his solo voice at his own pace. That sense of freedom colors Conchúr's music. He is a music graduate who has also worked alongside young people with mental health issues. On the Bikini Crops and Dreamers EPs, he filtered the influences of acts such as Arctic Monkeys (recent vintage) and Father John Misty into songs at once playful, referential and experiential. The moonlit plea of this year's "Atonia", a cathartic reverie on sleep paralysis, showed White's melodic and lyrical talents blossoming.
