I'm so excited to have the opportunity to record again with Champian in the duo format. I'm very proud of our first album Dream A Little…. but our friendship and musical partnership has grown so much since that recording and the opportunity to record again is something I'm very grateful for. I would like to sincerely thank Kodi Hutchinson and the team at JazzYYC for providing Champian and I such a wonderfully unique situation for us to record. We both loved the experience and a big thank you to Scott Morin for taking on this production of this project with such elegance and grace.

Called "the most gifted pure jazz singer of her generation," Champian Fulton has become a world-class jazz pianist and vocalist with international acclaim. This young woman born in Oklahoma captivates audiences in New York's finest jazz rooms and in concert halls around the world. For this release she performs as part of a trio with drummer Kristian Leth and bassist Hans Backenroth.

Champian Fulton is a talented singer/pianist from Oklahoma who now resides in New York City. She learned music from his father who is a renowned jazz trumpeter and educator. Champian graduated from the State University of New York with a music degree in 2006. In this fabulous debut album, she shows the full extent of her talent: sunny, lovely, expressive and soulful singing voice and formidable, bebop-based piano chops. She is ably supported by fellow New York residents, Neal Miner on bass and Fukushi Tainaka on drums.
