The Luvmenauts, a genre-defying Canadian musical collective, proudly unveil their highly anticipated sophomore album, “Ephemera.” Expanding on their signature sounds, this sonic odyssey pushes boundaries, blending bizarro riffs, post-rock freakouts, and synth-heavy head nodders into a mesmerizing fusion that transcends traditional genre labels.

Drawing inspiration from classic library records of the 1970s and the rich tapestry of European musical influences, The Luvmenauts have crafted an album that redefines the limits of sonic exploration. From the pulsating rhythms of “Doing Jazz” to the mind-bending textures of “Cocaine 3,” “Ephemera” stands as a testament to the group's unparalleled creativity and fearless approach to music-making.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When The Luvmenauts hit the juice, we make Ephemera," says keyboardist/saxophonist Andrew Moljgun of The Luvmenauts. "We wanted to create an album that defied categorization, something that would take listeners on a journey beyond the confines of traditional music."

Devoted to resurrecting the sounds of yesteryear, The Luvmenauts weave a sonic tapestry reminiscent of dollar-bin library music treasures. Anchored by Andrew Moljgun on keys, Josh Cavan / Gabe Kong on guitar, Alex Furlott on bass, and Jon Hyde on drums, they embark on a quest to craft soundtracks for films that exist only in the imagination.

So, buckle up and prepare to embark on a sonic adventure like no other. With Ephemera, The Luvmenauts invite you to join them on a voyage through uncharted musical territories, where creativity knows no bounds.
