John Barleycorn Must Die is the fourth studio album by English rock band Traffic. As did most of their albums, it featured influences from jazz and blues, but the version of the traditional English folk tune "John Barleycorn" also showed the musicians attending to the same strains of modern interpretations of traditional folk music as contemporary British bands Pentangle and Fairport Convention. It marked the band's comeback, and peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200, making it their highest charting album in the US, and has been certified a gold record by the RIAA. In addition, the single "Empty Pages" spent eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 74. The album was marginally less successful in the UK, reaching number 11 on the UK Albums Chart.

Blind Faith's self-titled album was the only recording released by the short-lived super-group. Though the band had a brief and rough history, "Blind Faith" was a successful album, peaking at #1 on both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1969 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. On a list by Rolling Stone of "The 30 Greatest One Album Wonders", Blind Faith was at number 14.

Nine Lives is Steve Winwood's ninth solo studio album, released on 29 April 2008. It is also his last to date. The album's first single, "Dirty City" featuring guitarist Eric Clapton, held the number-one added single spot for three weeks in a row and peaked at the overall number-two spot on AAA Radio. The album debuted at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 26,000 copies in its first week.

About Time is the eighth solo studio album by Steve Winwood, released in 2003. It was his first album since 1997 and it featured a return to a musical style more in line with his earlier work with Traffic. That basic style is emphasized in the three piece set of the band: Hammond Organ, guitar and drums/percussion, joined on various tracks by saxophone, flute and additional percussion characteristic of the Traffic sound.

A multi-instrumentalist, he can play keyboards, bass guitar, drums, guitar, mandolin, violin, and other strings. Winwood was a key member of The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and Go. Arc of a Diver is his second solo studio release. The album was included in the book #1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die".

"B.B. King in London" is the nineteenth studio album by B.B. King recorded in London in 1971. He is accompanied by US session musicians and various British R&B musicians, including Alexis Korner and Rick Wright (not the same from Pink Floyd), as well as members of Spooky Tooth and Humble Pie, Greg Ridley, Steve Marriott and Jerry Shirley. The album was released in the United Kingdom on November 19, 1971 in order to coincide with the first date of King's tour of the country.
