Description
We believe that if people were going to do one course, engage in one style of practice for body/mind health, Qi Gong is the
best single system for this. From its origins, it has been used for self-healing and maintaining health for longevity and quality
of life.
3 Essential Principles in this Qigong Course:
(Our approach is a practical, efficient, and effective system for health of the body, breath, mind, energy and spirit)
FLOW: Movements are done in a slow, smooth and continuous 'flowing' way. We loosen the joints through spiralling motions
and bring the body to a state of 'SUNG' (relaxed, yet balanced and strong).
INTEGRATION: We first learn how to integrate the whole body. Qi Gong movements are rooted in the feet, powered by the
legs, controlled by the Lower Dan Tian (core) and expressed through the arms and hands. We then learn how to integrate body,
breath and mind with our 'Moving Meditation' practice set. Through this, we bring our energy to an optimal state of calm,
balanced and powerful.
BALANCE: Harmonize Yin/Yang. Our practices consist of everything from sitting meditation (Yin) to vigorous movement
practices (Yang). A comprehensive training program should consist of practices that bring one to a state of both physical
and psychological well-being.
"When the body works better, the brain works better. When the brain works better, everything works better"
