Hitler's Last Mockery: Operatsiya Chernobog

As always, there are two sides to a medal. And even the truth can be told in different ways (you all know Schrödinger's cat story, the one that is both alive and dead!). Rodolfo intrigued me by saying "I have an idea for a book, but I would like to write it with someone and then I thought of you". My self-esteem skyrocketed, as did my curiosity. So I begged him to tell me something more. "Let's imagine that Hitler isn't dead, but the Russians took him to Moscow to judge him!" "Science fiction? Uchrony? Or maybe you have secret sources?" "I'd just like to know more about him, his personality, his ideas and how he's come to act with the wickedness we all know." "So we're sending him to Moscow for a closed-door trial? Then you're the defense attorney and I'm the accuser, or vice versa!" I was already beginning to like the idea. "I'd like to take him on a long trip with a Russian officer to escort him and maybe interrogate him on the way." I was about to answer when Rudy dropped the ace of trumps. "The Russian officer will be a Jew!" I was already won over by the idea. I could see the outline of the book, ready to use. And at this point I just wanted to start writing. "What do we do - I asked him - split up the parts? You play Hitler and I play the Jew, or vice versa?" Well, this is the real story of how it all began and so it seems clear to me that the main credit, if you are reading this book now, is certainly not mine. So if anyone should be thanked … that's Rudy.
