"By Popular Demand" is a CD of live performances by Ron Boots, Eric van der Heijden and friends. The friends are Gerald Vos, Harold van der Heijden, Ad van Gerwen, Bas Broekhuis, Ingrid Lohuis and Klaus Hoffman Hoock. Some of the selections feature Ron's penchant for live synth trios, others feature synth duets and percussion. The highlight is the cosmic and ethereal "Through Mental Doors." That piece features narration by Louise, Harold's masterful drumming, a synth trio of Ron, Eric and Ad and Ad and Ron on didjeridu! It is one of the wildest outer space rides imaginable! The massive soundscape is carried by some wild sci-fi manipulations and some overblown sequences. Ron's didg drone sets it up and a synth drone takes it home. The whole album sparkles with energy and giddy zeal.

Ron Boots: This is our third official live release and it gives an impression of the music we play as specials and encore pieces. In other words: This is all new music. You don't hear any familiar pieces from other CDs. That makes this CD unique, with music that was played once and will never be heard in this form again.
For us musicians this is the greatest way to perform; not being limited to studio versions, it gives us a feeling of freedom on stage and it certainly increases the amount of adrenalin in our vains during the performance…

"Area Movement", which was conceived during the last 15 years (with many long intervals), describes some special places in the world. This ranges from Ron’s own country The Netherlands (The "Wadden Sea") to Canada and the Serengeti National Park. The style on "Area Movement" is quite melodically, sometimes even symphonic. In this case, "Area Movement" sometimes bares some of the same fine atmospheres of his early albums. The first track "The Grand Banks" already shows it. Starting with a soft piano part, this piece really "rocks". It features Harold van der Heijden on drums. Also, the sequences are excellent again. Another great track is "Rapids" in which the sequences somewhat remind of Ron’s masterpiece "Tainted Bare Skin"…

Ron Boots is the most well-known and successful electronic musician from The Netherlands.
Hearing the first notes of the title track it is not hard to hear Ron’ recognizable signature: innovative rhythms, great sequences nice solos and a lot of room for the finest sounds around. "Save It For A Rainy Day" shows the melodically side of Ron, almost like symphonic rock. In the epic "Well! So What?" (with 18:25 minutes one of the longest tracks he has ever recorded) Harold van der Heijden plays drums in the middle part. "Well! So What?" gives us some of the best Boots-sequences ever. "Giants Of Once Before" is a live recording from the Gruga Park in Essen, Germany of Ron together with his friends Harold van der Heijden and Kees Aerts. It is a rather melancholically piece with a driven solo.
"Close, But Not Touching" really sets new standards in melodically electronic music.

The '98-release "Tainted Bare Skin" of Netherlands's most famous and successful electronic musician Ron Boots is again one that hits the spot in many ways. Screaming Whispers is a melodic creation from Ron Boots at Groove Unlimited. Boots builds his soundscapes with heavy sequences and dense atmospheres. He is an expert at combining Berlin school sequences and deep minimalism. The unique soundscapes are warm and comfortable. Boots has many unique characteristics in his soundworlds. The most important quality is the outright congeniality. These compositions invite listeners into Boots' soundscape to hang out and do whatever. He's just having fun and wants to share his joy with his listeners. Screaming Whispers takes that to the next level. Boots injects his massive soundscapes with virtuoso musicianship, ethnic influences, humor, and fun. He greets each listener personally and warmly. Ron Boots has been making great electronica for years. "Cutting Branches" continues his tradition of excellence. Created totally on electronic instruments, Ron is able to generate authentic-sounding drums, guitar and bass. He mixes them expertly to create exotic soundscapes and vivid imagery. The images are very pastoral and organic. Much in the vein of Robert Rich, Ron creates organic juxtapositions through scientific exploration. This music is otherworldly, ethereal and serene.

In addition to his regular music this CD contains over 70 minutes of perfectly produced, absolute astonishing ambient music of the finest quality. Originally released in 1991 as Boots‘ second album, additional material (in the form of a 9 minute, previously unreleased track) has been added to this remastered 2002 reissue, bringing the total time to 74 minutes of luscious electronic ambience.
Besides offering a more primal glimpse into Boots‘ music, this release delivers a softer side of Boots‘ electronic styling. The compositions are moodier here, more rooted in the ambience of Steve Roach or Michael Stearns than the powerful epics of Boots‘ more recent works. And yet, Boots introduces his own elegance to these atmospheric soundscapes, injecting subtle power to this peaceful sonic domain…

German synthesist Frank Klare has been recording electronic music for many years, as a solo artist and with bands like Synco and Traumklang. Klare is joined on this release by Ron Boots, who lends his EM expertise to three of the album's seven tracks. Generous atmospherics fill a cold sky with mounting warmth. Layered sequences descend from the beyond, adding strong definition and appealing melodies to this harmonic flow. A feeling of sedate calm is laced with strident chords that elevate the tranquillity to more dynamic territory, generating a lavish disposition of sonic majesty and meticulous intention. Long intros melt into involved compositions that bristle with verve and passion. This live album was recorded at the garden party of German Winfried Wiesrecker. There are not a lot of people who can say that they had a concert in their backyard. After Winfried asked Ron Boots to play there, Ron promised he would do something special. Sometimes, Ron is in his studio in the Dutch village of Best not working on an album but just enjoying himself with his toys. At a certain moment, Eric van der Heijden and Harold van der Heijden joined him and the music you can hear of this album started to grow. Also Frank Dorittke (FD Project) was asked to accompany them on electric guitar. Off course, these four men are now known as MorPheuSz. The music the musical friends played in Winfried’s garden, is the first under this name so the garden is the birth cradle of MorPheuSz.

This release from 2010 offers 64 minutes of dynamic electronic music.Morpheusz is: Ron Boots (on synthesizers), Frank Dorittke (on guitar and synthesizers), Eric van der Heijden (on synthesizers), and Harold van der Heijden (on drums and percussion).

"From The Forgotten Rooms Of A Lonely House" is a limited edition album of only 400 copies, offered as a free gift to visitors of the concerts held on December 30, 2011 and January 8th, 2012. The first three tracks on this album are live-pieces by the quartet MorPheuSz (Eric, Frank, Harold and Ron).
Compared too the mellow "Garden Gomblins…" album, the band here plays more dynamic and melodic/progessive music, including glowing versions of "Another Timeroom" and "Da Capo".
The other four tracks are solo creations by Ron Boots created in his own studio, kicking off with the beautiful, slightly dark space music of "Lost Stars"…

Current was an important album for the Dutchman. It came as a follow-up of some rather successful albums and can perhaps be regarded as a "warm-up" for his brilliant album Tainted Bare Skin from 1998. Now, again ten years later, "Current" has been carefully remastered by Ron and re-released on the Groove Unlimited label.
Current is a solo-album in the true sense of the word. Where on many other albums Ron is accompanied by guest-musicians, he works alone on "Current". The only exception are the drums on "Close Call" which are played by Harold van der Heijden. Two things play an important part on "Current".
